for some strange reason the Nth Americans don't mind paying for an asset-then shutting it down. Another example was the purchase of the Western Metals Leonnard Shelf zinc deposits by Teck, who shut down the operation straight away.
That obviously gives them prime position in the event of a price recovery ,(an already proved deposit), but it is still strange.
The metallurgy is well documented as being the same as MT Isa.
As to Descrepancy selecting Buka, who knows-probably offerred to him by Andrew Kroger who was trying to get out for some time. The company was also a distraction to Triako.
