this morning Firefox did an update and without warning I lost all my precious bookmarks. Stuff I need for reference, translation work etc. etc. it is really annoying - the new interface of Firefox is so annoying, so I deleted and went with Opera.
I did find a back-up of the old files on my computer in some kind of code (JSON4 etc) but now - 2 hours later - I am just about to give up, and of course, I will need to download Firefox again for that to work.
I will check into Vivaldi first and see what their interface looks like.
Pretty annoying that these companies can simply do this without warning - I would have done a back-up or print-out of my bookmarks - will do so next time.
