sometimes when rtc shopping, product at coles with last use by date, will not go through the till - so confiscated - .. obviously the product ends up in the dumpster … have noticed it in relation to milk products and meat ..
not always, but sometimes - it is all computerized and the scanner linked to the rtc stuff to the checkout .
in relation to bread - bread is relatively expensive in relation to the amount of flour in the product.
watso tends to buy day old bread from the local coles store for half price - but they only seem to have the generic brand bread for half price
