At least I'm a happy investor. I no longer hold shares but still am a member of the Gold Trust. Since my former financial planner told me that any income on this investment was going to be treated as a capital gain, I wanted more production every quarter. Now that I know he lied to me and any income is taxed, I'm happy to get my money in little drips, even if I have to chase CTO every quarter to get my cheque. I'll put in a bit more effort, but pay less tax for this. Hopefully, next year I won't get a huge debt to Centrelink for overpayment of family allowances (like this year).
So slow production does help somebody.
As long as they produce another 15,000 ounces and don't go broke in the meantime, I'll be happy enough (although still p##ssed off at the other messes CTO left me with in the past).
