ASX TradeMatch® Advanced Order Types Centre Point Order®
A Centre Point Order® enables execution at the prevailing midpoint of the best bid and offer of the ASX Central Limit Order Book (CLOB). These anonymous orders transact independently of the CLOB and will only transact with another Centre Point Order®. Once a Centre Point order trades, the trade will be displayed in the trade history window with condition code CX.
Mitta I take this to mean that these trades are outside of the central exchange (CLOB).AND THEY ARE ANONYMOUS That there is an exclusive market (without retail investor involvement)but the volume shows up as included in the total share volume for the day for CLOB though only part of the market gets a discount "between themselves" which is unavailable to the retail investor. Who are the participants in this exclusive market and what intent and affect is available to them? oh no thats right they are ANONYMOUS. No manipulation here nothing to see move right along now
