Bazz for the past 4 weeks or so there has been a heck of a lot of CX, SX NXXT SXXT, all manner of cross trades, some have been done out of trading hours too,
the instos have another market outside the ASX market called dark pools, this is where the big boys get to play and where markets are manipulated to the nth degree,
look up all the past threads on manipulation and dark pool trading etc, there is a heck of a lot of discussion on it,
dont forget if they don't cover now there will be a big short squeeze after GE13 IMHO, i'd expect 100M trade volumes on the monday after GE13, it a massive spike occurs it just proves the obvious.
