I just don't understand how some get accepted. I have a family member with a serious heart condition who had to wait 7 years before he was finally accepted. He was hospitalised up to 4 times a year with doctors saying he needed to go on the heart transplant list. However, he kept getting knocked back for disability so he just didn't work and his wife worked full time and then put up with the nightmare of his continued sickness and hospitalisation.
It sometimes doesn't make sense and I just don't understand it when i see these people on A current affair bragging about being on welfare for 20 years.
