I heard of a teenager who when discussing Asia immediately said China.
I also heard that a teenager who made a comment that could be deemed impolite in relation to a person walking past was quickly picked up by saying that if the person was black he would not say that. The immediate response from the innocent teenager was that "you can't call them black, you have to call them African American". Problem was the teenager was born on the dark continent, had never been to America - either north or south, and was having the discussion not far from Sydney.
