To me it highlights the pressing need to think outside the square .... like accepting the best skilled younger workers that a moribund Europe has to offer to, as in 3-5 million of them over say the next decade.

With several decades of significant infrastructure spend in front of us and possibly a visionary east coast very fast train project that would allow and in fact encourage infill regional development along the route never seen before in our history.

Australia can create its future, rather than sitting passively to watch a deteriorating story unfold.

I think it points to a natural demographic for an election win to the ALP.
Like in the USA where the demographic is naturally against the GOP.
