HIS COMMENT WOULD BE DIFFERENT if there was an election and the balance was held by the greens....
no amount of money paid would be sufficient if an election was lost based on the continual use of lignite and winning greens support.
ENTER federal government ..with its incentives.
Brumby was ready to go with coal drying but changed its decision due to political uncertainty by the greens.
Carbon tax passed ,before AGM would be a positive start.
