I think holders need to have a think about why Lewis Tay was removed as an Executive Director recently although he remains a Non Executive Director.I think that it is the best interests of shareholders to support Malcom Carson and get behind him at the EGM in order to see shareholders gain the best deal possible for DMA.It is Malcom Carson and his team who have been behind the astute selection of and acquisition of DMA's superbly located leases. I am married to a Chinese and I think I have a fairly good idea of Asian thinking having lived in Asia for more than 15 years.I strongly suggest that it is Carson and his crew who will best represent the interests of minority shareholders.
If the current board is overthrown and a new crew headed by Lewis Tay gains power I will be exiting my position in DMA.
Given the current costs of rent in Perth it makes no sense at all to move the head office from it's current location in Sydney.Be careful of what is passing itself off as a "new broom".Do your homework people and consider carefully the consequences of a management takeover by Chinese. Also do some research and try and understand the frequency of side deals which sometimes occur in explorers where senior management is Chinese.I have recently exited 2 companies with "new" Chinese management when Chinese company secretaries refused to let me speak to the Managing Director or to give me his direct email address and told me that the MD would not be interested in talking to me (a small shareholder)."Mate's rates" are pretty common in China
