BC Iron on track for January delivery

Junior miner BC Iron says it is on track to ship its first batch of iron ore from the Nullagine iron ore joint venture in the Pilbara in January.
The project is a joint venture with Fortescue Metals Group.
BC Iron managing director Mike Young says they expect to generate more than one million tonnes from the Warrigal mine by June next year and three million tonnes in the following financial year.
"Following that, part of our agreement has us ramping up as FMG ramps up its capacity at Port Hedland, and when that happens we'll be able to go to five million tonnes, but we don't have a solid date on that yet," he said.
