A likely scenario is someone with a large holding who has held for a while has said 'I am selling out on the ignition day and the days thereafter no matter what'. That said there's nothing untoward about someone deciding to exit, only that it hurts our portfolio's in the ST. I see it as a golden opportunity for those who thought they may have missed the boat.

It's probably someone with a huge interest in UCG as they've moved most their loot straight to LNC. I wouldn't rule out someone very close to LNC as you said, the 'bond' traders.
