Molonski, no 2 people are the same, and no 2 necessarilly respond the same to artificial stimuli such as drugs or alcohol.
Some can drink heavily or smoke pot all their lives and not have mental problems.
others can have just a tiny "chink" in their makeup in that just a matter of months of pot use can cause paranoia or manic depression to manifest.....
I have seen a lot destroy themselves unto eventual death with alcohol....while others who drank with them almost nightly had no problems.
I always drank heaps, but only smoked pot on a few occasions because just a few puffs would zonk me & reduce me to sitting there with eyes crossed, speechless,& a silly grin on my dial.....meditating on the sound made by one hand clapping or something equally silly. So nature spared me from drugs. Alcohol? Hmmm, did get me into trouble once or thrice.....
But some people should be protected from themselves, and kept from drink & drugs.....how can we do that?
