and there are different approaches to FA as well - growth, value, dividend discount, NPV cashflow, Macro top-down, bottom up, themantics - the different approaches do not invalidate each other. Same with TA, of course. Recently through this forum i have discovered the world of cycles - tTheory, waves degrees fibs & phi, armstrong & pi. Seems a bit ignorant to have ignored these before, but folks around here i think will relate to that "discovery".
