    @pugsley100 there is no definitive test for Aboriginally mainly because of the political sensitivity of developing such a test, but it would pretty easy to create one if you were tasked with this job. The Australian Aboriginal and Melanesian populations are the only ones with significant Denisovan [1] ancestry in the world so you can determine aboriginal genetic ancestry just by looking at how many Denisovan alleles they have.

    Looking at the person in the article you linked who had top matches for Iberian ancestors and then looking at her photo I am not surprised by the result. I suspect she does not have much Denisovan ancestry. But I guess it got her a job in the public service so all is good.
