"Its a sad fact frasier that short sighted people vote for parties that hand out sweets"
I am beginning to disagree with this statement.
I think the voting public are getting sick of the extreme wages/welfare and conditions of the chosen people/welfare aristocracy and the taxpayers are saying "you first" when it comes to austerity (and so they should)
Australian welfare recipients and public servants/pollies who the taxpayer pays for, need to take a haircut first, if the government ever wants to shove austerity down taxpayers throats
I think reducing the number of pollies significantly at state and federal would be a good start, so would kicking as many as possible off the disability pension
