One news and few questions!

So...I posted this news on a thread and thought to share it here to disscuss , by looking at the JRV` background.

News on the 3^rd of April 2024 ; on few websites:

“Glencore has agreed to supply up to 7,000 tonnes of cobalt per year to US-based EVelution Energy as a way to support the development of solar-powered commercial-scale battery metals processing plant in the US.”

“Under the LOI, Glencore and EVelution have also agreed to discuss the potential offtake of up to the full production of cobalt sulfate from this facility, as well as hedging and working capital solutions for the facility.”

In 2023, the reported consumption of cobalt in the United States stood at 8,300 metric tons, while the country's apparent consumption that year was lower, at an estimated 6,400 metric tons.In 2022, Canada produced an estimated 3,063 tonnes of cobalt in concentrate from primary nickel mines.

Any Ideas on how this may affect JRV in future, supposedly only Cobalt producer in the US?And where possibly GC` cobalt is coming from by 2027?
Any Ideas?
