CFMEU administrator says union’s woes ‘worse than reported’

The administrator of the scandal-plagued CFMEU has warned that corruption and coercion in the union ranks is worse than has been reported and has vowed to relentlessly pursue any company boss who has bribed a union official or contributed to the culture of fear and intimidation in the nation’s construction sector.

In his first interview since being appointed last month, senior barrister Mark Irving, KC, told AFR Weekend and 60 Minutes that the “monumental” and “massive” task of tackling the infiltration of bikie and underworld figures into the union and broader building sector was “going to be the hardest job of my life by a long shot”.

1- Of course it would be worse than reported. Always is.
2- Labor have been living off these groups for decades and they want influence back for the money. Nothing is free.
3- Even though it is right of front of the voters, 33% of them will still vote for them. Part of the problem.
4- People still wonder why the govt isn’t getting anywhere with productivity and dismantled the building commission.
5-Left wing paid up media go soft and more than half of the Labor MP’s are from unions.
6-QLD and VIC leadership not exactly great for the country. Red shirts etc.
7- The Greens are hell on earth as well. They are supporting this corrupt union. Tells you everything about that group of sell outs nutters.
8- Even with hundreds of court cases and fines, Labor still took money from them. I guess the left need the money more than the law.
9- No wonder the left are always trying to shut down free speech.

The Libs are no angels, but they are not this openly inbed with sanctioned crooks. If it all blows up, these Labor MP’s will all get promoted to higher paying soft jobs anyway. Middle finger to workers on the way out the door. Imagine what’s going on under Biden and Harris. Follow the left, follow the money, follow the crime. Imagine the extra layer of power Labor would have got with the Voice. Just saying.
