I would try to throw out everything we know and leave our beliefs and ideologies at the gate before we enter the room - give it a total rethink.
We know the basics - and, that's the only things we begin with -

eg.
people need -
food
shelter
etc etc

we take the obvious knowns
we are going automated

that's about it ------ chuck around ideas that will give us a society that will work and leave no one behind

So here's the big question from me.

What do we do with all the people that need guidance ? That need to be led ?

I appreciate your view of wiping the slate clean but we have human nature to deal with.

People need leadership. They need direction. In varying degrees of course but they still need it. The system we have gives them direction, despite it's flaws.

How do you propose we manage that ?
