While I can't disagree with the SP movements (bring it on!) I can't agree with your statement. Locking in 5%+ profit on a day trade isn't moronic.
Were you buying at $17+? I certainly was, but only to buy back after selling trading parcels in the $18 range. If you're a buy and hold forever on this, I don't think you'll go wrong, but the price is manipulated as with any stock, and traders will be part of the action. Is making money that way moronic?
