If labor MPs cross the floor I think it means automatic expulsion from the party they may be allowed to abstain but that wont help their career while Julia remains leader.

I don't think it would matter,they have short careers as it is.
I believe they could go out as heroes with a better chance next election of keeping their seats, do nothing and their gone.
