yes they (apparently deliberately) broke an election promise..... how unusual is that given all the non-core promises of Howard and the deliberate Lies by Abbott.....

Albanese has (possibly) planned this before the election, or maybe simply seen the writing on the wall that if they didn't do something to help those suffering under inflationary cost of living their goose would be very badly cooked. burned to a cinder, dry and inedible.

however they've done this, they're on a winner imo. and I don't think many will be swayed by the accusation of lying given the past history of lying pollies over 25 years.
