I'm generally dismayed at the aggressive tone of many HC posters. I've never really understood it - perhaps it's because they feel they are soldiers in the battle of ideas.
In anycase - telling me to 'wake up' neither helps me understand your view, nor particularly makes feel I should re-examine my own.
Having said that - there is a degree to which I agree with you. I don't think people who can't afford it should be made to take on debt. i certainly don't believe in debt enslavement.
But we currently have a scenario where legitimate businesses and ventures can't get credit, and this is causing unnecessary harm. Just saying that there should be blanket denial of credit because it 'stuffs it up the sheep' is as simplistic as it is patronizing to the millions of people who have been able to responsibly use credit to improve their lives.
