To all those who hold BCI : extremely tough play now. A lot of bad IO sentiment on the market but actually BCI still makes small profits with IO @ $US 75/t. This is ~ $AUD 87 / t, and BCI all in cost is around $68 mark. So I think that market is selling anticipating further fall in IO prices well below $US70. Then BCI woul start loosing money. Yet BCI has a lot of cash now and increased mines (aftet IOH t/o).
btw: note that similar situation is now with almost all commodoties and it will eventually reverse. Gold, IO, nickel, coal (!) - all near bottom. The danger is that BHP / RIO mgmt morons will continue IO price war and they will kill both the pray and the hunter. Then vultures will come in to feed ...
