There is no way this will be production any time soon. The diving has been canned because the Shipping company pulled their Dive Support Vessel and so the main diving contractor has lost the contract. Other companies are bidding on it now. To mobilise a Dive Support Vessel from Singapore will take a month at least. Then there is 40 days diving to get it tied in minimum. This is not including weather and we we know Bass Strait is damn ugly any time of the year so double it.
The relationship with contractor and client is not that healthy either with crews going on strike over late pay.
I am pi$@ed off as I am in limbo waiting for the next company to get the call so I can get back to work. This job should have been finished this week if it went to plan.

So let me get this right
Job should have been finished this week = 7 days
Then there is 40 days diving to get it tied in minium = 40 days
I don't get why a new crew would take so much longer.

Other companies are bidding on it now.
If this was the case I would have thought we would have heard more around the traps by now .
