I previously posted on Hotcopper that there are a lot of questions regarding the reliability of the unit. After discussions with some doctors they said it would be very difficult to emulate the human heart as a mechanical one cannot assess the "stresses" accurately enough of the body to determine the exact rate of beats. For instance if a person walked down the street. Could the "blackbox" computer determine exactly the amount of beats?
