Yes but be honest H9, your preferred course of action, i.e., no masks and no lockdown in Vic would have seen that 820 figure rise to 8,000+. And the lock-down + mask mandate in Labor states added very few to the tiny 89 deaths figure, so it's clear that masks + lockdown is what you do if you want to save lives (admittedly, at a cost to the economy). To tell you the truth I'd hate to be a state premier, because there are an infinite number of choices to make regarding the severity of the response, i.e., protection of lives vs protection of the economy, and none of those choices will be acceptable to all residents in the state. In the end you can only please some of the crowd, some of the time.
John King clearly favours open borders, but that is understandable given he is the head of a struggling department store.
