Yep, it's a bizarre thread this one. Full of emotion and poorly constructed arguments.

I see you are in the bear camp - temporarily at least - and prepared to entertain the thoughts of an economics academic. Also you are not a home owner. If you were a bull, the same would apply, but I have to say they seem a little more forgiving. Maybe its the lefties versus righties thing.
