    sat, while you're on an "enlightenment" trip, may I deign to enlighten you on another little matter? The quote you attribute to Aristotle in your sig. is by no means something that Ari has either said or wrote. It is something that perhaps a student of his might have said or even some totally unknown, insignificant person, unrelated to Aristotle or his school. It is, most probably, an anecdote, or a piece of graffito which was dumped, along with many other anecdotes, on Aristotle's lap. No one really knows who said this but for some bizarre reason everyone blames the old philosopher for it. Not that I hear too much protestation emanating from his grave... not that I know where his grave is...
    I hope you're adequately enlightened!

    Tonnes of stuff has been written about humour. Very interesting stuff. Arthur Koestler wrote great chapters on the topic.
    What's really funny and what's a camouflage for a condition of profound melancholy or fear or agitation?
