Russell indicated he had a couple that would underwrite any shortfall (sounded like investors rather than stockbrokers). I think he knew the options were going to be taken up. Looks like the increased volume over the last week or so has been options related.
I'm curious why someone would sell when the company is on the verge of; at the very minimum doing a game changing deal with Mits which allows CNQ to build a 1.5mt plant. Maybe the last 2 days of no selling suggests that the shareholders are prepared to hold a little longer.
