Thanks all for the feedback and I guess I was a bit negative but it was getting hard to deal with the 'black, white' 'bad, good' labels that were been posted here with little backup.
As I have pointed out in my technical posts: choke rates, horizontal drilling, risk profiles and hundreds of other decision in petroleum are not 'right or wrong', they all have unknowns, risks and a spread of possible results.
When two companies differ on a way forward, it is not that one is a wonderdoy and the other is incompedent or corrupt but much more likely that the background/experience, financial position or corperate vision are significantly different and lead each to a different path.
I would ask the people on here wielding the 'tar brush' to at least make some effort to explain why one company wears the white hat and the other the black.
