What attracts (attracted) Greeks to Australia? A better standard of living and a better environment. Greece over the past 100 years has been a relatively poor country and Athens a smog bound near hell-hole. Coupled with major political instability up until thirty years ago it is not surprising many Greeks made Australia home - and they have enriched Australian society.
