aflatoon. The greeks who are here have come here pretty much after the war when Australia out out huge advertisements all over Europe. Greece was fairly well flattened by the bombardments of the Germans -and occasionally the Brits, so being swayed by the "gold-in-the-streets" ads of Aus, they came in droves... became factory fodder, then slaved to save, thinking that not long afterwards they'd go back; but their kids grew up here, loved it, married aussies went to aussie schools and the rest is history... ancient that is. Hardly anyone from Greece these days leaves the country for good.
But you're right about 7's commentary. Spot on. And the spectacle was fantastic!
