Drilling on its way - 3,500 feet gone in one week, with another 10,500 feet (3x3,500 or 3 weeks) to go before reaching 14,000 feet and multiple hydrocarbon sections.

Marian Baker #1, the initial test well for the onshore Amazon prospect in Louisiana, commenced drilling on 16 January 2011. The rig has now successfully drilled through to the first casing point of 3,500 feet, is currently on schedule and is preparing to drill ahead to the next casing point.
Amazon is regarded by the Operator, Caza Oil and Gas, Inc. (TSX: CAZ) (AIM: CAZA), to be a multi‐segment prospect, with prospective reservoirs supported by AVO data within a proven play fairway. The Marian Baker #1 well is expected to encounter multiple, potential, hydrocarbon bearing reservoir sections from 14,000 feet and take approximately 50 days to reach total depth.
