I would also add that yes a matrix well design would have been the best option, but they also thought that the productivity of the reservoir would be less (therefore less water handling requirement). This is of course a good problem long term, but for a linear well design it makes it all that harder to dewater.
As i said previously, i still believe they think they will get there with what they have. it just takes longer and frustrates all shareholders in the process.
