i lost a bit of money on agi trying to pick the bottom and made some money following the ride on all from 15.00 to 17.00, but you live and learn. i didnt lose too much in agi fortunately so i ended up kind of neutral

mr market has once again reminded me that trying to pick the bottom in a company on a negative earnings streak is and usually a losing strategy.

its far more stimulating and challenging and means less huge gains than just following the momentum of a winner, but if you hold onto the winners for long enough the compound effect of moderate eps gains start to become huge over 5-10 years.

ill stay away from agi until they prove their turnaround story.

i was cynical at first but maybe just maybe old crazypunter is right about the novo takeover.
