What you say is right. Nothing is set in stone. A mate asked me why I didn't sell at 7. I showed him charts where stocks had gone vertical and then crashed . I actually liked the look of avl chart, when it broke thru the ceiling at 5.8, I said i would have bought as it was v bullish, that was the top. I then showed him charts that were 20 plus baggers. where they had similar stepping patterns. But I have not seen a fall of this nature on stocks with this type of pattern unless there were terrible announcements.. Which is not the case here. Anyway as far as the next floor would be 2.6 , if that does not hold then 2.
