Boffin1979, At this stage no-one knows whether that is going to be the extent of the deficit. Treasury needs a higher approved limit than is actually necessary overall because of cyclical issues relative to the flow of revenues versus expenditure. The Treasury boss has spelt this out in senate committee hearings.
