Exactly. As the mantra goes - privatize profits but socialize losses. When is the government going to wake up? The banks will of course take anything they offer. And notice not even an acknowledgment about what a great windfall it was - it was as if they almost thought it was their right. But unless the government demands something in return, and waves a big stick in that demand, they will get nothing in return.
