i cant be sure but i reckon at the end of all of this slx will come out with the story that it is going to be a lot more profitable for them (in the long term.....which shareholders have had to get used to over its history) for them to go it alone and have sole monopoly over the third generation laser uranium enrichment rights.

this will obviously result in large capital raisings as slx will need to build the plant themselves and it will probably develop into another cmq story.

if the tech was that promising why did usec walk away? i could be wrong but huge risks holding at these levels........
