It is now more than a year since EQN anncd that Lumwana debt financing would be completed before the end of 2005 _ and we are still waiting!
It appears that the only obstacle now standing in the way is completion of the concentrate offtake agreements with the smelters and they hope to have these finalized before the end of the year (ref P22 of Sept presentation).
I have found this whole shoddy process to be a giant pain in the a#se and particularly so as the commodity markets are now beginning to soften.
If we are lucky, we might see sign-off before Christmas - but don't hold your breath!
