The executive director of Extremadura New Energies (ENE). Ramón Jiménez, reaffirmed on Wednesday that the company plans to submit the application for the operating permit for the Valdeflores underground mine to the Board before the end of the year. "Between November and December," Jiménez said in statements collected by the Efe agency. For a few months, the mining company has been commented, both in the information disseminated by Infinity Lithium, the parent company of ENE, and in Jiménez's statements, that the one-year period they had to request the permit and that they would request it before the end of the year was not going to run out.
"There is no specific date because we are incorporating all the modifications derived from the new process, and there are quite a few environmental improvements," Jiménez added in statements to the media, collected by Efe, before the presentation of one of the tournaments sponsored by ENE. Before the summer, the Board sent the company the scope document to incorporate its observations into the environmental impact study, a document that will be delivered along with the application for exploitation.
