I've been interacting with this opposition on and off on Twitter for months and while they push a lot of misinformation and scaremongering, a primary issue that I see raised over and over is concern about the groundwater and potential leeching into any underground aquifer.

It's important to tackle this concern. Namely, proving in any environmental submission that i) the returning material is non-toxic (I saw that INF already stated that), ii) that it does not leech and remains in place when returned into the mountain and cannot get to the groundwater. Going the extra mile to prove up the ESG of the project is critical and INF need to be rock solid on the environmental credentials.

Fortunately, it seems the company understands this and support for the project has only improved in the past two. So I feel its heading in the right direction.
