Westpac Broking yesterday let me down again. I placed an online overbid order of $1.20 at 58 seconds prior to Open Match-up with Indicative Price of $1.01. Received message that my $3000 order was Subject to Review. Stock opened, trading $1.00-$1.02 for more than a minute, so I looked for executed order; remained unexecuted; so tried to Cancel Order, but message said Cancellation Subject to Review. Another minute later, trade was executed at $1.135. Pathetic. Westpac cost me 14% of my investment by taking three minutes to execute my trade and HelpDesk saw no problem. In the past, I've had similar issues with Options being held up for Review. I am moving back to CommSec where I never had this problem. I used to also use CMC, which I liked, until they began charging monthly fees on my then inactive account.
