It is the online tools available to the bully mentality that is the most dangerous.Turning the likes of Tweeter and Facebook into powerful weapons, posters are not anonyous and can take cruelty to a whole new level, my generation would say turn it off and harden up, No so easy when online technology is embrassed by and interwoven into lifestyle of young people.
I've seen the damage it can do first hand.
How individuals and society deal with it I'm not sure but schools and the laws way behind on this one.
Cyber-bullying is "the use of information and communication technologies to support deliberate, repeated, and hostile behavior by an individual or group, that is intended to harm others".
Anyway thats probably getting too deep for a Sunday evening.
