    From communication with ASIC, it is clear that one of the considerations of ASIC to get involved is

    "... Whether regulatory intervention would benefit the broader community beyond the affect individuals..."

    Therefore, a broadly supported petition may demonstrate this aspect to ASIC and assist them in deciding to act or not.
