for you to have weight to your theory, you really need to compare traffic and ebay sales results from say 6 -12 months ago to now.

just saying some part of their revenue comes from ebay doesnt mean anything by itself. e.g. they could have suffered a 50% drop in sales volume on ebay from 10,000 to 5,000 per month. your statement would still be valid but the trend would suggest that people are deserting the brand
