Department store giant Myer has re-hired 2,000 staff following strong Easter online sales.Myer was forced to shut its doors in March leaving 10,000 without a job, but its online store remained running.The Myer Easter sale saw overall online purchases up by 800 per cent and allowed for the supermarket giant to reinstate 2,000 workers to help fulfil online orders.On Easter Sunday, sales for items such as beauty products like skincare, fragrances and makeup spiked an eye-watering 7,000 per cent, Business Insider Australia reported.
