I agree with some of your points. Don't have a GG though and don't buy much meat and then mostly chicken which I get at Aldi. Sausages I like though and after recently trying butchers in all the local villages I settled for the ones at Aldi for flavour. Actually, and this is another thing I do, I make a point of congratulating or grizzling to businesses online, not small stores of course, but particularly complimenting them on service or product on the assumption they probably just get complaints , I sent Aldi an email a few days ago saying how much I liked their sausages and received a most appreciative reply. I don't care if the store people don't like me, though there's no reason why they wouldn't as I'm always friendly and cheerful.
